MNBC Harvesting Rights

Hunting, fishing, trapping, and engaging with the land have played a vital role in the Métis way of life, both historically and in contemporary culture. Throughout British Columbia, active Métis hunters, trappers, fishermen, and plant harvesters contribute to the rich tapestry of Métis identity.
We encourage every MNBC citizen and CMA member to register for a harvesters card, no matter their plans to harvest. This action is vital to protect our rights as harvesters and as Métis individuals. By coming together and ensuring that everyone is enrolled, we build our community and preserve our culture. Let’s join forces in this important effort to secure the future of our harvesting rights.
Learn about your harvesting rights and take the first step applying for your Harvesting Card today at the MNBC Link below;
